What is Unleashed?
Unleashed is cloud-based inventory and production software. It gives you a real-time view of stock across warehouses and locations — what's on hand, what's committed to orders, what's on the way from suppliers — and handles purchasing, sales orders, batch and expiry tracking, and production through assemblies and bills of materials.
It's a New Zealand-founded product with a particularly strong Xero integration, which is a big part of why it's widely used by NZ and Australian product businesses. Rather than replacing your accounting system, Unleashed sits alongside Xero (or QuickBooks) and keeps the operational and financial pictures in sync.

Role-based training for warehouse, sales and admin staff, a planned cut-over (typically a weekend or month-end), and hands-on support through the first weeks while habits bed in.

How long does an Unleashed implementation take?
Anywhere from a few weeks for a straightforward setup — one warehouse, clean data, standard Xero integration — to a few months where there are complex data migrations, multiple locations, production workflows or several integrations to build and test. Scoping at the start gives you a realistic timeline for your situation.
Does Unleashed integrate with Xero?
Yes — the Xero integration is one of Unleashed's strongest features, and one reason it's so popular with New Zealand and Australian businesses. Sales, purchases and stock journals flow through to Xero automatically. Unleashed also connects to QuickBooks and to eCommerce and other operational tools.
Is Unleashed suitable for manufacturers?
Yes. Unleashed supports assemblies and bills of materials, so you can define what goes into each product, track component stock and see production costs. Combined with batch and expiry tracking, it suits food and beverage producers and other small-to-medium manufacturers well. Very complex, multi-stage manufacturing may point toward a fuller ERP instead.
Can you migrate our existing stock data into Unleashed?
Yes — migrating products, suppliers, customers, price lists, bills of materials and opening stock levels is a standard part of our implementation. We clean and validate the data in a test environment first, then reconcile stock counts at cut-over so you start with numbers you can trust.
